Romanisation
editShouldn't this name be romanised as Inōe under the Revised Hepburn romanisation? --JadziaLover (talk | contribs) 10:07, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Should Japanese named be listed as "Inoue Givenname"?
editI did this in "Politics or Business" because it was mostly there anyway, but probably the whole page should have a consistent style. Most but not all of the linked-to articles use Japanese name order. If there's any risk of confusion to the reader, a brief note in the lead would handle that. Thoughts? 71.41.210.146 (talk) 07:17, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
Winouhe
editSince Hepburn romanization is phonetic, and historical kana orthography definitely isn't, it seems nonsensical to apply hepburn on it. --Kaledomo (talk) 05:52, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
