I've added that to the article - you could have done so! Do we have a template for that link? Andy Mabbett 14:37, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Festival Loctations Table

edit

Work in progress - Pulled most of the data from the IWA Diamond Jubilee history write up. There are a lot of blanks to work on. Need to dig out some old newsletters to see if I can find more to fill in these gaps. Any input much appreciated Catwhoorg 19:51, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

* Computerisation of the membership list showed this was an overstatement by about 2000-3000 **Police Estimate - yes 385 000, this year was if I remember rightly an 'open' site with no admission charges, plus being right in the heart of the connurbation there were a LOT of people. ***The Year of Great Mud. I'll have to dig out some of the pcitures of this one.

I've added this table to the IWA National Festival page with a few additions. Maybe other readers have more complete records. Chris55 (talk) 12:08, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

1950 events

edit

While the official IWA website just says Tom Rolt "left" the IWA in 1950, I think Wiki can point out what Rolt himself said, that he and some other people were expelled! Hugo999 (talk) 04:20, 15 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Images

edit

This article seems to be using rather a lot of images for decoration, rather than to illustrate the text. As far as I can see, every single picture is just a general canal scene, and not one of them is actually illustrating an IWA rally or similar.

As such, none of them should really be here.

We really need to remove them all, and add a couple of relevant images instead. Mayalld (talk) 13:32, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
