Of course he is notable - the article already mentions his awards and states that back in the 1960s and early 70s he was the first with serious applications of artificial evolution, which today is widely used in a million applications. I am astonished that he is called a "computer scientist" at first - as far as I know his main interests are in bionics, he started with modeling natural systems, but the computers are only in the second line (sorry for my english). Plehn (talk) 16:33, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
