Talk:Inger Andersen (environmentalist)

Hello HRSea. Thanks for taking an interest in this article, and expanding it. You have really added some valuable information.

I see you are new to Wikipedia - it takes a while to get acquainted with all the rules and conventions concerning how articles are written, especially biographies of living persons. There are a few things you might want to take a look at. For example: you have added a lot of references, which is excellent. However, in some case the references do not really confirm the biographical information about Inger Andersen that you are adding. When you say that she worked as an English teacher for a charity, a link to a blog about that charity programme is relevant if it mentions Andersen's involvement (in this case, it doesn't).

Regarding linking in the text: in the main bodytext of the article, you should only link to other Wikipedia articles, not to external sites.

Some of the text about Andersen's work for the World Bank reads as if it comes straight from a c.v. If it does, that could be a violation of copyright (Wikipedia only uses text that is in the public domain, or released under an open license). The solution is to use information from the original source, but change the wording.

Also, Wikipedia strives to provide neutral, factual information. In places, the text could do with toning down a bit.

I hope you find this helpful - please continue editing Wikipedia. If you have any questions, just write them below this message. Nl maclean (talk) 21:55, 15 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
