Myspace link edit

Just in case this is raised again... WP:LINKS says (in the Links normally to be avoided section) that articles should not link to "Links to social networking sites (such as MySpace)" - but - there is also a clear statement in the header of the same section, saying ... "Except for a link to a page that is the subject of the article or an official page of the article subject". My reading of that is that the official Infest MySpace page should be a valid link, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong --Mrph 19:38, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Founding Student's exploits edit

I've removed some bracketed comments added about some of the event's founding students. I don't feel they add anything to the clarity of the article and indeed feel that they actually make it harder to read. If these individuals exploits deserve mention, then perhaps wikify their names and add this detail on pages dedicated to them. Please respond if you disagree so we can discuss, thanks ItsGrimUpNorth 19:08, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey it would be interesting to some of us, it would be also interesting to know why Gadge is now banned--Spanglish (talk) 12:56, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't believe the detail was useful in improving the article. What do you think about starting a stub about specific individuals? Here is some info that might help you decide on the best course of action: Wikipedia:Stub

Gadge is banned from the *venue* because he tried to sue them. He is *not* banned from the event itself.82.23.24.41 (talk) 18:10, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
