There appears to have been confusion over the scope of the article from the beginning, with the creator categorising it under Companies established in 1994 and Companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, which obviously applies to Indorama Ventures, not Singapore-based Indorama Corporation, while also listing Jakarta as the headquarters location in the infobox. Though they're clearly associated businesses, Indorama Corporation doesn't appear to be a subsidiary of Indorama Ventures, and does not appear on the latter's highly convoluted group structural chart.[1] I was going to say this might mean redirecting wouldn't be optimal, but given even the article creator's apparent confusion, that may be the best option. --Paul_012 (talk) 13:11, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
Okay. Looking further into this, it appears that Indorama Corporation and Indorama Ventures are separately operated, and headed by different branches of the family: the former by Sri Prakash Lohia, the latter by Aloke, who are brothers. Merging/redirecting thus doesn't seem appropriate, and there isn't an overarching group structure that covers both. The best course for an overview, I think, would to be to create one at Lohia family. I think that should also be the scope for the category, which should replace the Category:Indorama Corporation recently created by User:Dharmadhyaksha. --Paul_012 (talk) 13:39, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

- I generally don't think unilateral draftification is appropriate for articles which have existed in for eight years. WP:DRAFTIFY notes two circumstances for draftification: (1) As a result of a deletion discussion, and (2) During new page review, neither of which applies here.
