Article carries the following statement "According to data produced by the Bangladeshi Ministry of Home Affairs, as many as 500,000 Indians were staying in Bangladesh illegally in 2009." I didn't find it in the source quoted.[1] Yogesh Khandke (talk) 16:42, 7 August 2013 (UTC)

Deleting content

I am deleting unsourced or poorly/ improperly sourced content for various reasons described in my edit summaries. If anyone wants to contest my deletions, please make your case here.OrangesRyellow (talk) 18:09, 13 August 2013 (UTC) I have deleted some more. Actually, I have deleted practically the whole of the article because it was written from an unabashedly Bangladeshi nationalistic POV by mis/using non-rs sources. I have explained the reasons in my edit summaries. If anyone wants more elaboration on any point, just ask. • Oranges, your edit summaries are helpful but in these contentious matters detailed explanations on the talk page are best. I suggest (to all of you) that establishing which sources are reliable is of great importance--saying something is anti-Indian and POV is one thing, but proving it is another. We don't need to add the government document directly, the figure of 500,000 Indians in Bangladesh is cited by The Financial Express, a major daily in Bangladesh and a reliable source.
