Tame Chung Chung
editI thought the editors of this page might enjoy reading this article (writen from Tame Chung Chung):
- Niharika Mandhana, India Moves Mountains to Build Military Road to China Border, The Wall Street Journal, 5 April 2017.
The road in question goes to Tame Chung Chung, up the hill, and then on to Taksing. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:05, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- The photograph at the bottom is probably this suspension bridge, next to the hamlet of Gelensiniak.
- There is also an embedded video in the article, which gives an idea of how people used to walk from Tame Chung Chung to Taksing before the road got built. A journalist from The Caravan tried to go to Taksing to investigate border intrusions, but gave up because the track was too dangerous to go on. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 13:04, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
