Fair use of logo image (Apr 2013)

To User:‎101.171.85.73. You say: "Fair dealing" under Copyright laws, internatonal copyright conventions and Wikipedia policies allow for use of material for critical comment including comparison.". You may be right, but you still need to give a rationale on the image page. Could you register on WP as your IP talk page may move? No change of name (Apr 2013)

Apparently the organization split with Scouts of Australia continuing as an unincorporated association while the corporation changed its name to Independent Australian Scouts. The Scout Association of Australia operates as Scouts Australia (this in not uncommon). Scouts of Australia changed their name to the Independent Australian Scouts in 2001. --  Gadget850 (Ed) ^talk 00:13, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

This juxtaposition of statements creates an implied series of cause and effect that amounts to original research:

Independent Australian Scouts operated under the name Scouts of Australia from 1992 and registered the business name Scouts Australia.[7] The Scout Association of Australia adopted the name Scouts Australia in 1997. Independent Australian Scouts adopted a logo consisting of a fleur de lis with a five star southern cross constellation above the word "Scouts" and applied for registration of a trademark in 1993.[8] In 1997, The Scout Association of Australia changed its logo from a fleur de lis with just two stars to a fleur de lis with a five star southern cross constellation above the word "Scouts".[9][10] [11] [12]

Independent Australian Scouts offered a very simple organization structure. In 1996, The Scout Association of Australia simplified its structures and completely re-wrote its Policy Organisation and Rules 1993 as Policy and Rules, 1996.[13]

There are two currently registered entities that may relate (Independent Australian Scouts Limited (ACN 056 563 065, since June 1992), and the Australian Association of Independent Scouts (ABN 51 838 979 020, since May 2021)).

There are no readily locatable and current websites or Facebook pages, other than a dated one which does not list contacts for any groups within Australia other than one central point of contact.
