Albanian Independence Day → Albanian Flag Day – 28 November is the Albanian Declaration of Independence in Vlora on 28 November 1912, where the Albanian flag was officially risen. It coincided with the day in which Scanderbeg rose the flag in Kruje on 28 November 1443.
It is known as the Flag Day (Dita e Flamurit) between Albanians, next to the adjacent Liberation Day (Dita e Clirimit) which refers to 29 November 1944, end of German occupation.
The "Independence of Albania" came from the Conference of London of 1913. It was formalized on 29 July 1913 and is not celebrated or officialized. Mondiad (talk) 01:28, 31 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
