Redirect edit

This article is prefaced with '"Incompressible" redirects here. For topic in fluid dynamics, see Compressibility.' However, typing "incompressible" into the wiki search directs me to Compressibility, not to this page. If I click on "incompressible" for a disambiguation I get the following site, which is equally unhelpful: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Incompressible&redirect=no

Perhaps the '"Incompressible" redirects here. For topic in fluid dynamics, see Compressibility' should be reworded or removed and perhaps there should be a way of eventually getting to the mathematical meaning of 'Incompressible' after typing this word in to the wiki search.Adammanifold (talk) 17:12, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Incompressible surfaces in ... edit

could someone please help me to understand what are the incompressible surfaces in the cartesian product of the bounded möbius band times the 1-sphere ? Juan M Marquez (talk) 20:47, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

This question has been hanging fire for more than three years now. I find this article very unclear, and will now start work on it. Help is always welcome. Rick Norwood (talk) 19:31, 19 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
