Added More Information edit

My father was in the Imperial Guard, and I added the part about the 23 generation recital. He told me that any man who expected to join the guards had to pass it before the true challenges would begin.

Added Information Regarding Jafar Shafaghat and his involvment with the guards edit

My Grandfather from my mothers side was General Jafar Shafaghat. We (me, my brother and my mother) lived with him from 1976-1979. Later I had a series of discussions with him in 1996 in Nice and Paris France. I added the information regarding his involvment with the guards based on his comments and his son's (my uncle's) comments. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.109.67.157 (talk) 20:58, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Who was the last commander of the Imperial Guard edit

The article gives 2 names. Lieutenant-Colonel Yusuf-i-nijad and Maj. Gen. Ali Neshat. Googling Yusuf-i-nijad provides only references to this wikipedia article but googling Maj. Gen. Ali Neshat provides a rich life history including honours and lots of pictures.

I suspect that Yusuf-i-nijad might be wrong and was perhaps inserted as a test or a vanity edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:AA7:4003:FB1:A139:82F1:FB66:9F09 (talk) 22:22, 8 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
