The article focuses on federal impeachment. But that is not the only form of impeachment in the United States. State governments have their own impeachment processes (many modeled after the federal process, but nevertheless somewhat different) as do some native tribes, for example. I think it should be titled "Federal impeachment in the United States". Any thoughts before I formally propose a name change? SecretName101 (talk) 21:15, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- On second thought, since there is afterthought content in this article on state impeachment, perhaps we just spin much of this article off into an article titled "federal impeachment in the United States", and restructure this article to focus on impeachment in general in the U.S. SecretName101 (talk) 02:43, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- This is now too state-heavy. Will be spinning-off expanded state content at Draft:Impeachment by state and territorial governments of the United States, which I am currently developing. SecretName101 (talk) 18:03, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
