The result of the move request was: moved to Impalement (disambiguation). Three points:

• There is unanimous consensus that Impale ought to be a primary redirect to Impalement.
• Most editors did not make an argument as to whether the dab page should be moved to Impale (disambiguation) or Impalement (disambiguation), but those who did favored the latter, so I've moved it there. See also WP:DABNAME. If there's a desire to discuss this further, feel free to start a follow-up RM.
• Similarly, most editors did not address the alternative suggestion to eliminate the disambiguation page altogether. There's no consensus on that issue in this discussion; feel free to start an AfD if you'd like to discuss it further.

• Support per nom. Most meanings on the page reference the torture method (the band invokes it intentionally, the illusion simulates it). BD2412 T 04:12, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
• Impalement does look like a primary topic for "Impale", but Impaled should still redirect to a dab page: it's the actual proper name of the illusion and of the band, and like with other past participle forms, it's not very plausible that it would be used by readers searching for the article on impalement. – Uanfala (talk) 20:24, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

• Oppose per ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ. There are five entries listed upon the Impale disambiguation page and not a single one of those uses the exact term "impale".
