- Yeah, some mention of Game of Life variants could be (and perhaps is) included in the Game of Life article. However, this an extremely poorly sourced such variant, and for all we know it maybe doesn't even exist. Googling for it doesn't help, I can't find it. - This does exist, but you're right there doesn't seem to be much information on it. It's defined in the Life Lexicon [1] (which is where I got the definition when I created this article), but there's nothing there except a bare definition. It took some creative googling, but I found a paper in the arXiv that mentions Immigration and uses it to invent a "game" called "p2life" [2]. I think I remember seeing another webpage about this somewhere, but it was a long time ago. I wish I knew where that was because it's the only place I know that discusses Immigration itself beyond the definition. Eric119 22:48, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- I found a website that discusses Immigration as a color-based interpretation of the Game of Life. It also includes information on the author's new interpretation, so it is not completely relevant. However, I decided that it was a fairly good introduction to Immigration, so I included it and mentioned the "color" interpretation in the article. Player 03 00:03, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
