Requested move edit

The result of the move request was: Imagery (literature) → Imagery per suggestion and discussion below. Image has more traffic, but makes only passing mention of "imagery" in a caption. Incoming links at brief glance appear to intend the literary meaning as well. -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:36, 24 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Imagery (disambiguation)ImageryImagery exists, but is a one-line stub that is redundant to Imagery (literature). Imagery was PRODed ([1]) based on this redundancy, but deletion of the article would lead to an anomaly: no article named "Imagery", but multiple disambiguated pages, with the messy result that someone looking for an article on imagery of any type would not find it easily. Per WP:DABNAME, this article Imagery (disambiguation) should be moved to Imagery, and turned into a redirect to it.

The tiny bit of content currently in Imagery has been merged to Imagery (literature). More info at Talk:Imagery. TJRC (talk) 21:31, 16 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

That being said, it wouldn't break my heart to go with Clarityfiend's proposal. My primary objective here is to un-hide all the articles currently being masked by the Imagery stub. TJRC (talk) 18:36, 22 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
