Coord missing

The mass tagging of articles as missing coordinates is crazy. If this article is going to have coordinates, they should be specifically for things like the mouth or the source. A river is not located in one place. Murderbike (talk) 07:48, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

The article has the coordinate of the mouth, since that is indeed the convention. If the gnis entry were handy, I would have tagged both the source and the mouth with the latter getting title status. —EncMstr (talk) 15:09, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

I've been editing WP for a long time, and never heard of anyone using the mouth coords for the generic top right coordinates. It would be a lot better if the River Infobox was used, which has paramaters for mouth and source coordinates, and would be clear to the casual reader what was being located with those coordinates.
