Based on two documents discovered during his research for his Jacquet family history book: “The Sons and Daughters of Jean Baptiste Jacquet: A History of the Black Jacquet Families in Louisiana”, Illinois Jacquet’s nephew Russell Jacquet-Acea has emphatically proven and declared that his uncle Illinois was born on 30 October 1919. This is based on the 1920 census taken in January which says “Jean Baptist” (Illinois) was three months old, and the baptismal certificate which says Jean Baptiste (Illinois) was baptized in December of 1919.Rjacquet2 (talk) 19:15, 19 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

How do you pronounce his name? Bluefox79830 (talk) 19:29, 31 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

+1 Yes, how do you pronounce it..? Obviously the French pronunciation is not always followed in traditional American usage. 猫に小判 06:43, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
