Is there a credible source for the somewhat unusual spelling (Traore instead of Traoré)? 31.17.145.202 (talk) 14:45, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

At a glance, a slight majority of English-language news sources are omitting the acute accent. I could see either being the correct title. I don't think there's a need to disambiguate. A head of state is basically always going to be the primary topic for a name, especially over a fairly run-of-the-mill athlete. Ibrahim Traore → Ibrahim Traoré – his last name is written this way in most if not all Burkinabe, French, and some Anglosaxon media. junta extended till 2029
