Song he used to play a lot?

Death date

There is an inconsistency between sources over whether he died on Monday 20 April - https://syncopatedtimes.com/pop-idol-turned-ragtime-legend-ian-whitcomb-has-died-at-78/ - or the previous day - https://bestclassicbands.com/ian-whitcomb-you-turn-me-on-obituary-4-20-20/. One of those articles says that the Tower record label had nothing to do with the Tower Records retail chain, so that link is probably wrong... AnonMoos (talk) 12:23, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

A nice man

He was a nice man. In the late '70s I performed for LA's Maple Leaf (ragtime) Club, and he bothered to approach me afterwards to tell me how much he enjoyed my set.
