I have never contributed anything to wikipedia so if I breach any guidelines shoot me!

Ian became a personal friend. I was very saddened to read of his death 2day over 4 years ago.

There seems to be no reference to his involvement in community radio in Australia which was not insignificant.

I met him when he was the Chairman/President of the board of what was then 7CAE-FM.

Aggie his gorgeous dog decided she was going to live with us and stayed till her death even though he had given her away to friends when he went to england at the other end of Tassie. She turned up 6 weeks later.... We travelled the country with her.. If she thought we was perhaps moving somewhere she made damn sure she went with us!

I had email correspondence decades later with Ian... He was most amused to hear the story.

If there are questions I can answer about my friend Ian I would be happy to.... be nice to see another side of his life reported.
