Second Harrison Song Recorded edit

This is sourced, so I don't want to change it, but it is incorrect. "Cry For A Shadow", "You Know What to Do", and "Don't Bother Me" were all recorded prior to "I Need You". Harrison is also credited as co-author of "In Spite of all the Danger". --Jd204 22:28, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok, it's the 2nd of his songs that was released. --Daveler16 (talk) 16:50, 24 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

I Need You (The Beatles song)I Need You (song) – Obvious primary topic. --The Evil IP address (talk) 14:38, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Support as above. yeepsi (Time for a chat?) 14:44, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose – a Beatles single I could understand, but this is just an album track. You're going to have to do a lot better than just saying "obvious" to explain why this outranks several top ten singles enough to be considered a primary topic. • Oppose. There are 10 articles on songs entitled "I Need You", with several being top 10 hits. This song however was never a single, nor has it notable cover versions. Tassedethe (talk) 20:38, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. It's not obvious to me when there have been several top 10 hits with the title "I Need You". Zzyzx11 (talk) 03:50, 5 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. per other opposition above. I always thought that if anybody was looking for a song called XYX they would have an idea who the artist was and for songs WP:PRIMARY doesn't necessarily work as intended. Also worth considering, if there is a new big hit called I Need You...what happens then? Ultimately I think the proposed rename does a disservice to the Beatles, but that's just me. --Richhoncho (talk) 19:50, 5 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment, I'm surprised by these opposes. I mean, this is not an ordinary song, but one by The Beatles, who are a lot more notable than any other artist who's made a song of this title. --The Evil IP address (talk) 12:40, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. Per WP:DISAMBIG, there's no such thing as a primary topic for a disambiguated name. A topic is either primary for the base name (in this case "I Need You", alone) or it must be fully disambiguated. Partial disambiguation is confusing. Powers T 02:23, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment if this is the primary topic then why are you using a disambiguated form as the destination? -- 76.65.131.248 (talk) 08:39, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Shortened edit

I shortened the parenthetical comment in the "Composition" section. --Daveler16 (talk) 16:51, 24 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Arrangement edit

"Recording the Beatles" gives some surprising facts about the arrangement, quoted from notes made by George Martin during the sessions. Martin's notes are the best possible source so I went ahead and changed the section accordingly. There are wikipedia pages on this book and two others so I made them links to the articles. I had a few additional edits to get the references format correct that I should have marked as minor edits. --JoeBrennan (talk) 16:16, 25 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Bahamas? edit

Is it necessary to have a paragraph about a supposition, only to point out the supposition is wrong?--Daveler16 (talk) 13:13, 16 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
