Notability? edit

Not sure how this meets WP:Notability (music)—there doesn't seem to be anything said about it other than the fact that it appeared on a chart. I am considering AfDing it, but I would like to hear some input here first. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 15:00, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Here are some links I found from a google search, not sure if any of these sites are considered reliable or not (they're all blogs) so I don't know if any of this helps with notability: [1], [2], [3]. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 20:00, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Has anyone noticed that the beginning is almost exactly like "Say It Ain't So" by Weezer? Something me and my friends have questioned —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.39.7.164 (talk) 00:09, 28 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

To all you people who want to pretend edit

That all the people in American universities are there because they are such astonishing, bright, morally upright young people. Just take a look at this song. 199.117.69.8 (talk) 20:30, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

...to all you people who want to pretend that this song is actually an accurate depiction of college life, rather than one guy's attempt to make a lot of money..... oh, what was i saying? rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 20:44, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • My father used to own a yellow shirt. Happy irrelevant comments day! (c: --Boston (talk) 21:23, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • To all you people who want to pretend that yellow shirts aren't yellow....well, just look at this comment. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 21:27, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, anyone of this opinion is out-of-touch with today's culture. Personally, I think that college is as much about socializing with your peers as it is learning in the classroom. That said, everyone finds a different balance between academics and social life during their time in college. Obviously this song plays off of the idealized "college life" built up in teen movies and pop culture. Tvh2k (talk) 00:23, 5 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I am coming late to this but... 199.117.69.8 and others should know that it's all about what you make of it. You can goof off and be a total idiot; a lot of people do; let them enjoy their stupidity. On the other hand there are smart people as well. It also varies a lot by the place. From what I've heard about West Chester, unlike Tvh2k I have to say I think this is probably accurate. But (and sorry if this offends some alumnus or another) West Chester is mostly a school for the area's suburban rejects; there is a reason it's not very well known outside of its immediate region. 174.21.0.5 (talk) 19:23, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
