Did the disability rights activists storm the stage during the 1992 ITV Telethon broadcasts? I read somewhere that this happened but cannot find anything on the internet about this. If true this should be added to the article. Also couldn't another reason for the end of the ITV Telethon be seen with the culture change that came with the 1993 franchise changes and wasn't it criticised along other telethon broadcasts for poor quality of programming? It should also include like the Red Nose Day and Children in Need articles what the main highlights of each event were and how much each region had broadcasted on the telethon? Surely more time was given to big names such as Granada and Central as opposed to minnows like Channel and Border?--Wrh1973 10:50, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
-- Interesting to read about a "Carlton" Telethon in 1980 - over a decade before they ever became involved in ITV. Was that edit by someone at or connected with Carlton/ITV plc at all? Have fixed it now btw —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.13.188.84 (talk) 12:29, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
