Title

Does the INVITE have to be in capital letters?Jamesrules90 (talk) 17:50, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

According to Google, that is the common usage. But if it's an acronym, I don't know what it stands for; and if it isn't, why is it in all caps? Sneakysaucer (talk) 18:39, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Sneakysaucer

INVITE is a SIP verb/method; like all SIP methods it's always written all-caps to distinguish it from normal words (this convention was copied over from HTTP into SIP). -- Phiarc (talk) 22:52, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
