Facebook and Twitter's articles are not about those things because the majority of sources about the websites aren't. In this case, when I accepted the draft it seemed to me that the majority of sources are about extremist use of the platform. Since no actual form of violence has been perpetuated by iFunny Inc. and iFunny Inc. is a Public Platform threats of violence by individuals utilizing the platform are not the liability or responsibility of iFunny Inc. Legally speaking a corporations like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, or iFunny are not held to Publishers Liability for any action taken by their users due to them not being a publisher but rather a platform for users to publish private content. iFunny Inc. is not legally liable or responsible then for the actions, threats, or opinions cited or actioned by its users. It is with this reasoning that iFunny should not be held to some kind of "association of violence". There is no subsequent reasoning to add an association of violence since the corporation of iFunny Inc. is not directly involved in the perpetuation of violence. We do not hold companies like Twitter, Facebook, or Reddit liable or associated with violence of its members and therefore we should not hold an institution, even as small as iFunny liable for violence done by its users. We're not holding the company liable or responsible, but noting an association documented in reliable sources. The sources in the article associate iFunny with violence. I cannot see evidence from your comment that you have read the sources, and I would like to see specific quotes and references to them if you believe we are misinterpreting them. On the flip side, I am no friend of Twitter, Facebook or Reddit, but we write what reliable sources say and nothing else. I've noticed that the article says that iFunny is Russian, but I don't think that's the case. Note that its parent company is FunCorp, which is based in Cyprus. iFunny is actually just a brand. See these links that show that the company is in Cyprus.

Currently we have two sources for "Russian website". The Forbes contributor source (dubious in reliability) just cites the second, but this source―BuzzFeed News―is a bit more robust: [iFunny] is owned by Russian developer Okrujnost. I'm not sure that it matters that the company is formally registered in a tax haven, and we prefer secondary sources over primary sources in most instances. — Bilorv (talk) 23:58, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

The Buzzfeed reference confuses the purchaser with the developer. According to the AWS (Amazon) case study iFunny was "Created by Flysoft and launched on April 1, 2011" (https://aws.amazon.com/ru/solutions/case-studies/flysoft-ifunny/). Every current reference points to it being a Cypriot brand owned by FunCorp. However, the original developer in 2011, FlySoft, was based in Russia. Okrujnost LLC bought it from FlySoft in 2012. There is a discrepancy between references as to whether iFunny is "Russian" or "Cypriot". Since this is disputed material, I am going to remove the "Russian" claim from the beginning of the article until a consensus is reached. Zakaria ښه راغلاست (talk) 16:49, 25 August 2022 (UTC)

It's Cyprus-based company owned by Russian expats. Their office staff is exclusively Russian. I know it's Wikipedia, and source "I saw it with my own eyes" isn't credible, but I think it's safe to say that at the very least it was created by Russians and current staff has strong ties to Russia. 176.98.226.170 (talk) 12:41, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
