Curriculum info edit

I'm currently a student in IB English HL and from what I know, the curriculum is divided into four Parts. Part 1: World Literature -- forms basis for the World Literature papers, consists of 3 books by non-English authors. Part 2: Detailed study -- schools study one example of each Part 3 category, and is used for the Individual Oral Commentary. Part 3: Groups of Works -- categories are Drama, Poetry, Novels & Short Stories, and Other fiction (IIRC); these are used for the Paper 2 exam. Part 4: School's Choice -- works chosen for study by the school, used for the Individual Oral Presentation.

I would add this but I do not have a source, nor am I sure this is a standard for all Language A1 topics. SirGre (talk) 19:10, 18 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Self-study edit

The second part of the section about self-studying is confusing: if students are only allowed to take Lang A1 at SL, why would they then write two WorldLit assignments? Best regards, --Smihael (talk) 10:57, 31 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
