editI doubt that this is a real edit but "The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is scam educational programme and is primarily aimed at making." ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.246.235.126 (talk) 18:37, 7 September 2017 (UTC)

Regarding recent edits there, they're problematic for a variety of reasons. Please discuss on the talk page per bold, revert, discuss. You were bold, I reverted (and now you've reverted), so it's time to discuss instead of edit war. Thanks. Truthkeeper (talk) 02:21, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
Not gonna "talk", Truthkeeper. There's no use trying to "talk" to you.
- Not talking won't be helpful, but thanks for verifying per this. You added a lot to a section that was built based on a lot of discussion and arrived at through consensus. I trimmed down - just because something can be cited doesn't mean that everything gets to be added to the page. Choose two to keep - I'd suggest the most recent but honestly I think they're pretty minor examples and the para was fine as it was. Truthkeeper (talk) 04:13, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
Your trimming involved eviscerating the section. But hey, if you think that's fair and balanced and need to feel all powerful by wiping out something which you readily admit was built based on a lot of discussion, then let it be on your conscience. Personally, I felt the remarks added to Sen Dayton's reference were biased and not germane, therefore I don't have all that much of a problem with you wiping the old Reception U.S. section. It might interest you to know that there is currently another amendment to a bill on the docket in Utah, also involving Sen. Dayton, to exclude IB from scholarship incentives. Nah, I guess that wouldn't interest you because again, it does not favor IB. However, the fact that an entire village in Nevada spent 18 months fighting the implementation of IB, that it was the #1 news story for the area,l and that IB was sent packing, IS historically significant. The New York Times story is a perfectly legitimate cite and I am fine with it the way it reads. The cost issue is significant and I would like to add more to that since IB's fees have increased dramatically ($151 student registration, $104 per exam as compared to $89 for one AP exam, I do not know the cost of an A-Level exam, perhaps someone could share) ....... but I won't. Not in the mood to fight with you. I tried to add two historically significant lines, properly cited, and you had a meltdown. Very sad.
Oh, one more thing, in retrospect I am also glad that you wiped the reference to Pittsburgh (which was incorrect, it was Upper St. Clair, PA) because this way, Wikipedia isn't revealing how the pro-IBers and the ACLU bullied the school district and cost the taxpayers a bundle. Wouldn't want that kind of information associated with IB, would we? :-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.108.22.78 (talk) 23:54, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
P.S. - You might consider asking Ewen's opinion of my 2 edits and whether he concurs with what you eliminated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.108.22.78 (talk • contribs) 15:49, 15 February 2013
- OPINION - Truthkeeper, interesting edit: " For the UK only, taking the IB with its six subjects, EE, TOK and CAS is actually a disadvantage compared to sitting three A-levels.". Needs a citation. This statement is true, but should not be limited to the UK. The Advanced Placement Exams (AP) in the U.S. also garner far more college-credit than the IBDP. ~~ONY — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.108.22.78 (talk) 13:13, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Curriculum
editIs it possible to create different articles that explain the various courses offered by the IB Diploma Program similar to how there are various articles about the courses offered by the College Board's Advanced Placement Program?

- Sources need to be refreshed for validity purposes. • The special circumstances section of the article needs to be elaborated upon seeing as the source which is dated at March 2007, is no longer available. PhilA10 (talk) 17:12, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
