Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is still in editing process will fix any errors soon. In progress. If I send a consent of the photos and infos used for this article from the artist itself.. will it be approved? Thank you — ★Kay (talk) 23:36, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • The delete isn't on wikipedia, it is on http://commons.wikimedia.org (your login at wikipedia should work there as well. You would have to ask them there, although I doubt it. I left some info on your talk page with a link to the copyright policies. If you are confused about copyright, don't feel bad, it is a complicated issue. Unreliable sources edit

Since this article is at AFD, I am trimming all the blog spam out of it, lest someone accidently think those are legitimate references. Please read WP:RS to learn more about what is and isn't a 'reliable source'. Dennis Brown (talk) 13:28, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

File:IAMMEDIC Perfect Cover.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion edit

An image used in this article, File:IAMMEDIC Perfect Cover.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
