Side Effects:

(2007/04/30) An elderly patient , with advanced Parkinson's disease, had exhibuted an inability to urinate, following the hydrocelectomy. The same day surgery center released the patient prematurely (on a Friday evening) , along with an inserted Foley catheter. The patient could not be managed well at their home, and the Foley catheter was subsequently removed on the following Monday. The ability to urinate continues - the worry is that the urine will build up, and cause other complications (enlarge the liver, etc. ). As of this writing - the 'verdict is still out' on whether the correct treatment was done for this patient. I am not medical person - but the patient's son - so the terms may not be correct - but its a complication that I amm told is not uncommon.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.198.119.131 (talk • contribs) 18:48, April 30, 2007‎
