Banana rat edit

I would just like to set the records straight, I was stationed in Guantanamo Bay Cuba In 1964. My best friend Tom Siegfried and myself (Ernie Rossi) hunted bananna rats with a bow, we gave them to the natives for food. The most important reason for writing this is because I gave them their name. We shot one while it was defacating, when I picked it up, I noticed the droppings looked like minature banans. We never could find out what their real name was so I started calling them banana rats.I have pictures proving this, as far as I know, no one ever hunted them on the base or after we left.
