Edibility edit

Apparently edible in autumn? The article doesn't seem to clearly specify if so. 76.10.128.192 (talk) 05:00, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Its edibility is unknown - as is that of most species in Australasia. It's pretty tiny anyway. Where did you read that it was edible? Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 05:18, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
I knew nothing of this mushroom until seeing a link to this article from the Wikipedia main page. Wondering if it was toxic or edible, I did a quick search, and among the first results have seen "autumn edible" in the summary. After your answer I decided to actually search again and click on the link, to discover that it was actually "Edible: no" followed by "Autumn" on the next line. In the following link ([1]), it's not considered edible, afterall. Sorry for the confusion. If its edibility or toxicity are actually unknown, it makes sense for the article to not specify it, although perhaps that it's worth mentioning for non-mycologists like me who'll also visit from the main page. Thanks, 76.10.128.192 (talk) 05:53, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
