Human rights violations during the Tigray conflict

edit

If someone wants to start the article Human rights violations during the Tigray conflict (or Human rights violations in the Tigray conflict, since literally, human rights violations that happen elsewhere in the world during this period are irrelevant to the article, so "in" is probably OK), see Talk:Mai Kadra massacre/Archive 1#Sources now suggest parallel massacres for a suggested starting structure (but convert it to prose, not just a list), given the current information we have from sources. Vandalism log:

Very likely the same person; both cases were reverted quickly (by different editors). So far, no justification for semi-protection. Mai Kadra massacre had to be semi-protected. We'll see how fast the community of new users learns. Boud (talk) 00:37, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Articles to add

I will list below related articles to this page, from credible media outlasts that we need to add. There are also videos we can add once I figure out how to have them archived.

This says Niqisti, 42, said her brother was shot dead by government-allied militiamen in front of their home in Humera, in Tigray state, and her small restaurant was looted. It was not possible to verify her account. “They bombed with artillery, and the air force raided,” said Asmara Tefsay, a 31-year old mother. “Then we saw the soldiers approaching and I fled with my two children, my mother and my father.” The refugees quoted by news agencies appeared traumatised by the sheer intensity of the bombardments they say were carried out by the Ethiopian army. Many told stories of artillery attacks and shooting in the streets, with fighting spilling over into neighbouring Amhara state. “I saw women giving birth on the road, but then continuing to walk because they feared the Ethiopian soldiers would kill them,” said Roni Gezergil, a female engineer aged 25. ... In Sudan’s Gadarif state, Gidey Asafa said the fighting had forced her and her family to flee Mai Kadra with nothing but the clothes on their backs. “We saw people being slaughtered. There was blood all over. We fled because we didn’t want to die,” she told Al Jazeera. “Some women lost their husbands. We came with nothing but our lives. These clothes were given to me by the people here.” By the way, Gidey Asafa is a typical Tigrayan name. And in the video on the same article it says “The government wants to get rid of Tigrayan people, so we fled. People have been slaughtered with knives, pregnant woman has had their bellies open, the government is bombing civilians and killing us all.”

The Tigreans took Wolkayet ( current day west Tigray) by force 30 years ago and make the majority Amharas second class citizens. In Early November when TPLF started their attack on Ethiopian forces their main front was to control Gondar first and March to the capital. When TPLF and its para militia got defeated by Amharas special forces and retreat they committed indiscriminate killing of Amharas in Wolkayet (what they call now west Tigray). They committed maikadra and other Amhara genocide including in Humira, the largest city in that region. Most of these Tigreans para military and TPLF forces also crossed into Sudan and are claiming political asylum. It will be a huge mistake for the western countries to offer these criminal Bach to their civilized world. TPLF forces have stolen billion of Ethiopian wealth and using that to spread lies and shade crocodile tears, buy influence in Europe and USA. I see a lot of these on Wikipedia including Maikedra Genocide. In maikedra 100% of the victims were innocent Amhara day laborers. There was no single Tigreans killed in that massacre but u page tries to confuse readers. It is one of an organized spreading of mis information about what is happening in these areas. I think u need to do DD to protect the integrity of Wikipedia. 74.192.110.46 (talk) 01:36, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
