Shape of the capsid edit

Does anyone know the shape of the shape of the HPIV capsid? From the picture it seems to not be icosahedral or helical. Thanks, (D.c.camero (talk) 16:18, 16 September 2008 (UTC))Reply

From my knowledge it should be helical, here is a source from PNAS. Can someone add that in? Thanks Usucrose (talk) 15:28, 27 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

P/V/C overlapping open reading frame edit

Similar to other paramyxovirus, is it good to also mention about the transcription of PVC gene involves RNA editing to transcribe 3 proteins with overlapping open reading frame with same genomic sequence? Usucrose (talk) 15:18, 27 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

PIV5 edit

(H)PIV5 is mentioned in Successful MERS vaccine in mice may hold promise for COVID-19 vaccine (2020-04-07). It is missing in the article. Neither can be found in current ICTV MSL. Does anyone know more about this? Which genus? Thanks in advance. --Ernsts (talk) 21:06, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is Mammalian rubulavirus 5 as mentioned. ICTV Taxonomy history: Mammalian orthorubulavirus 5 --Ernsts (talk) 16:23, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
