Name spelled incorrectly edit

I am the grandson of Dr. McNeill, my name being John Patrick McNeill. Although my great-grandfather Daniel was born with his last name spelled MacNeill he changed it at some point during his lifetime to McNeill. Although I wish our family was able to understand why this change was made unfortunately we do not the reason. I was wondering if it was possible to have his name corrected so that it is spelled McNeill rather than MacNeill. In addition my grandmother's full name is Christine Mary Baker not Christine Marie Baker. 24.222.43.7 (talk) 14:13, 16 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
