Etymology

edit

I'm sure I have read somewhere that Hrym means "frost" or a kind of icy meaning related to frost (the word may be an etymological cognate of hoar, as in hoarfrost. Nonetheless, Hrym is given as a frost giant in particular. Someone could get a good source for this and add it. 4.242.174.6 (talk) 04:16, 26 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've added an etymology per Andy Orchard. According to Orchard "Hrym" boils down to "decrepit." :bloodofox: (talk) 05:11, 26 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
