Biography edit
For a person his age, there was one gigantic issue of biography about which the article is silent -- what Marks did about the draft and Vietnam. This is a pivotal aspect of biography, and no story of a person of military age in WW II would omit it. Was the Christian Science angle part of that? Medical issue? In terms of its effect on a person's life, having conscription when you are young and when a war is going on is a huge test of character (i.e., how a person reacts in a crisis). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.49.27.38 (talk) 14:55, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
- I'm not sure things which didn't happen to someone are notable events in their lives, but his 2014 Investor Memo says "When I went off to college, I'd never heard of something called an MBA. Not a Neutral Point of View edit
This article is very glowing toward its subject, for instance: referring to his ideas as "widely admired." It comes across as something that was written by his own PR team. The intro section appears the most biased to me -- streamlining it could help make it more neutral.
I can't follow the source for the Warren Buffet quote (from the Shanghai Daily) to see if it's accurate because my computer says it isn't secure. There is no source listed for the claim "Funds led by Marks have produced long term returns net of fees of 19% per year" but I assume it's source 7 in the references.
