Queen Victoria

If Victoria was ineligible to be monarch of Hanover, then why is she shown here? Shouldn't she be replaced with her uncle, Ernest Augustus if he became king after the death of his brother? 98.221.141.21 (talk) 00:17, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Edit: Also, it says: In 1901, when Queen Victoria died, her son and heir Edward VII became the first British Monarch of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Edward taking his family name from that of his father, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

This seems irrelevant as Edward VII was never King of Hanover. 98.221.141.21 (talk) 00:20, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

d'Este?

Victoria of the United Kingdom has the surname "d'Este" linking to this page (and a note on the talk page sort-of explains why), but this page doesn't mention that name. Perhaps someone who knows the connection could add something somewhere? - IMSoP 19:40, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
