First sentence History section

edit

The first sentence of the History section strikes me as particularly weird. "Little is known about the earliest origin of the house and its interior, however it can be traced back to the simplest form of shelters." This is just not true. Archaeological research all over the world provides plenty of evidence for all kinds of houses from at least the Neolithic onwards, if not earlier. To give an idea, I linked to just one particularly fine example in Iraq from the fifth millennium BC. Some more work might be needed here. Zoeperkoe (talk) 09:08, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

History/medieval section

edit

The "Medieval" subsection is very limited. It only talks about the houses of aristocrats (manor houses, Italian palazzo, Beaufort House, etc). Surely the far more numerous houses of the common people should be covered. (And if there is a reason not to, that should be stated). Iapetus (talk) 14:09, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
