I tried improving this historically inaccurate entry. HIP is much older than the 1970s with history going back to the early 20th century, however the resource I linked to (by Bodycote, one of the biggest suppliers of HIP services worldwide, yet not a commercial page) wasn't seen as "reliable"...suffice to say, they were commercially HIPing things in the 1960s is neither here nor there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saigon2010 (talk • contribs) 13:36, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
