Helicopter used in the 1960s edit
What type of helicopter is referred to as a "Hornet" in the article about the USS Liberty incident? I don't see a suitable dab entry for that. —BarrelProof (talk) 00:46, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- The footnote on p. 96 of the book Assault on the Liberty says they were Aérospatiale SA 321 Super Frelons; List of aircraft of the Israeli Air Force#Helicopters notes that their Hebrew designation is "Tzir'a (Hornet)". - Thanks. I see that the article on the Aérospatiale SA 321 Super Frelon also includes the term "Super Hornet". I suggest that on this dab page, we list that article in the military aircraft section drather than just mentioning it under "See also" (where I see that you just put it). —BarrelProof (talk) 01:16, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

- Sometimes it's hard to reduce it to just one link. I think an occasional exception to that rule is acceptable (e.g., I recall encountering a song written or performed by two people who are discussed in separate articles, and there's no way to establish just one of them as primary). - Yes, that's true. I don't feel very strongly about it, but my personal preference is to just leave it like it is here (with two links), and I take the Liberty article as reasonable anecdotal evidence that the simplified translation "Hornet" has made its way into English to some degree.
