Most of what the draft seems to be already sourced by the main article and there should be no portions that are not consolidated already as I can see it right now. Ornithoptera (talk) 22:32, 26 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm not convinced that Hope Tala is notable enough to have such a detailed article. She's not any songs in any notable charts. To be fair, one song with 2.3m views on YouTube and others with a few hundred thousand is quite good, but doesn't really tell us that much. I've also notice the small handful of internal Wikipedia links to Hope Tala which makes me wonder on notability. Her record company says she has tens of millions of streams on Spotify, but I don't know how to verify that. Also, almost all of the content has been created by one user. I'll add some templates. There is specific third party coverage of this artist by multiple notable outlets. That's the criteria for general notability, more than chart positions or number of internal wikilinks. SFB21:29, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm still not sure. I know what you mean, but I think the issue in this case is that she's a music professional carrying out a trade. Her record company and management (along with herself) are securing interviews and promotional attention in various ways in order to make money from her music. Most of her third party coverage seems to be promotional. Anyway, maybe she'll become a success and my observation will be moot.Seaweed (talk) 20:22, 21 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
What you are describing is the process of most music journalism to be honest. If we limited notability for coverage not related to promotion of a certain thing, we'd probably have very few musician biographies. SFB18:59, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
