BMW GS info. on this page implies that the BMW versions came after the Varadero (and other Honda) dual-sport bikes. This is incorrect; BMW has made dual-sport versions since 1980.

varadero xl1000 discontinued edit
varadero xl1000 has been discontinued, although i can not find any official bulletin or whatnot on honda sites, just various topics on forums etc
the "official replacement" is CROSSTOURER VFR1200, although it is more powerful & expensive --Richlv (talk) 09:45, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
