I'm not sure "and" names are really a good idea unless the article is really about an intersection of two topics. I suggest we split into Homoerotic poetry and Category:Gay poets. --Alynna (talk) 22:17, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

The Hunting of the Snark

Lewis Carroll's "Hunting..." is male homosexual and gay poetry. And it is great and very mean poetry meant to pull readers' legs for more than one century. The illustrations couldn't be clearer, especially fit 8. The most interesting aspect ot that story is how this topic has been missing from the main stream discussion of "Snarkists" since 1876: See Talk:The_Hunting_of_the_Snark#A_face_in_the_last_picture.3F, or directly go to the illustration de:Diskussion:The_Hunting_of_the_Snark#Snake in the German wikipedia, where something is highlighted which may be the Snark. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DL5MDA (talk • contribs) 16:33, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Syntax

"The Canadian gay poet Edward A. Lacey died after being run over in the street while drunk in Bangkok; repatriated to Canada, he remained bedridden." It is true that Lacey was repatriated and put to bed after he died or does this sentence structure need some work?Tomandzeke (talk) 19:24, 6 December 2012 (UTC)

The Jazzalyn Velez Article

Has anyone been able to find that article? It is mentioned in the Further Reading section, but might not actually exist. If it does exist, it is hard to locate.

Standards of inclusion? Any women at all?

This article briefly lists a couple of women in the header, but there are literally none discussed in the body of the article.

The inclusion of male poets seems extremely scattershot, giving the obscure Ralph Chubb equal or greater weight than Auden and Ginsberg, among other odd inclusions and omissions.
