GA Reassessment

In order to uphold the quality of Wikipedia:Good articles, all articles listed as Good articles are being reviewed against the GA criteria as part of the GA project quality task force. While all the hard work that has gone into this article is appreciated, unfortunately, as of October 16, 2008, this article fails to satisfy the criteria, as detailed below. For that reason, the article has been delisted from WP:GA. However, if improvements are made bringing the article up to standards, the article may be nominated at WP:GAN. If you feel this decision has been made in error, you may seek remediation at WP:GAR.

• The article needs to be thoroughly copyedited to meet 1a of the good article criteria. Some examples chosen at random:
  • "...the creators pay for everything through merchandise sales, which includes a line of T-shirts."
  • "... which he has gotten annoyed with."
  • "Merchandise sales pay for all of the costs of running the website as well as living costs of the creators, whose retired parents managed many of the business aspects." Why the switch in tense? What's the significance of the conjunction of the two ideas?

• "A very important note; Coach Z's mispronunciation of the Cheat's name as "the Chort" actually was confirmed to be a nickname combining short, and cohort." Why is this a "very important note", rather than just another piece of trivia?

• "As of September 23, 2008, there are 200 sbemails." Inline citations need to be provided for all statistics.

• There are almost no inline citations in the latter half of the article, from Characters onwards.

• "The fact that it takes place on December 25, the same day as Christmas, has been presented as just a coincidence, and it's been stated that Decemberween traditionally takes place "55 days after Halloween". It's been stated where? Who by?

• The article does not meet 3a of the GA criteria, in that it does not cover the major aspects of its topic. We're told that there are games, yet nothing about their reception. What is the volume of online sales? Is it just T-shirts?
