Plane crash edit

I know there was a bad plane crash about 15-20 years ago here, where a commuter plane crashed on takeoff and 10 people died, but I haven't found anything online about it, the local papers don't have online archives going back that far. Will try to find info somehow... Beeblebrox (talk) 23:31, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Local airlines edit

Pardon my original research, I will see if I can find an actual source, but Homer Air absolutely does run regular daily flights. Both Homer and Smokey Bay Air provide daily service between Homer and the various villages around Kachemak Bay. Island Air, on the other hand runs seasonal-only flights, I don't believe they even have a hangar in Homer. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:37, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Here we go: [1] has information on the daily flights around the bay. Both of them also offer charters and flightseeing, but they are primarily air taxi operators. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:40, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Actually here is the schedule and rates [2]. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:43, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Your the local :). I can't really find much about the airport, so I rely heavily on FlightAware, as well as airline websites. Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 22:44, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
About the destinations, all of those places are on Kachemak Bay, so I guess both versions are technically correct. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:46, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Ohh, okay. I didn't know that -- I live thousands of miles away in good 'ole Connecticut. I would list them all, since there are separate flights to each. Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 00:12, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Corvus/Ravn percentages edit

This table is a little confusing to me, as I'm pretty sure Ravn and Corvus are the same company. They've had a troubled couple of years (haven't we all) and it has gotten a little confusing with all the renaming, but the planes that actually land here say Ravn on them and have their distinctive paint scheme.
