Homebase in the USA?

There was a DIY retailer named Homebase in the US years ago. I believe that all of its stores in the US have closed. Was this part of the same company as the UK retailer? Kalmia 07:22, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

Supply Chain

Any objection to removing this section on the grounds of it bein un-encyclopedic? RaseaC (talk) 17:39, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

I have completely revamped this section, moving towards a more encyclopedic approach. What should make this section relevant is the fact that HB was the first to use central warehousing in its sector, and others followed, making a substantial change in the market- however, I don't know a reference for this. The Sainbury's bit on the bottom

What exactly is that bit on the bottom? It is quite misleading as it shows all kind of misleading links, such as a link to Nectar, which was developed after HB had its own loyalty card and financial services, when HB has its own, different, financial services. Keeping HB linked in this way, when HB is part of another retail group, is not very helpful. Comments? IceDragon64 (talk) 21:56, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
