The Paragraph That Argued With Itself edit

The paragraph headed "Filming location" opens by stating that the film was shot in Oxford, Mississippi, rather than Clarksville, Texas, where the story is set. The next five sentences, presumably contributed by an irate Clarksville, Texas booster, contradict this rather curtly and then lob examples of shots said to be from Clarksville (or Paris, Texas). Both sides are contended without any sources cited. Maybe the paragraph just needs to go, but it shouldn't remain as a two-headed monster punching itself in the faces. Somebody dig up a reputable source to peacefully settle this weighty question, or leave it mysterious! Joe Suggs (talk) 13:14, 18 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
