blatant copyright infringement edit

Substantially all of the content on this page is copied from the university's web site. For example, the history is copied from an old version of [1]—see [2]; the descriptions of buildings are copied from separate pages on the web site like [3]; etc. There is nothing substantial that can be saved here; ergo I'm marking it for speedy deletion. • Some of the text should be salvageable. I would rather keep the infobox and the first sentence than have no article at all. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 06:37, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
I guess I don't see the value, but as long as the blatantly plagiarized text is removed, my “job” is done. Kerfuffler (talk) 06:55, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

The copyright violation was introduced in September 2007 (diff). I suggest reverting to the July 2007 version [4] and delete everything after that. --Bluemask (talk) 07:27, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have declined the CSD tag on this article, but I've also removed everything I could find that was a copyright violation - which is pretty much all of it. The infobox and descriptor are all that remain. In theory I could have left in the long list of courses offered - that's not really a copyvio as such, since there's no other way to phrase "Batchelor of Science" - but I chose instead to stubbify the page so that it can be rebuilt from the ground up. Would that also mean having an admin purge pretty much every revision after July 2007? Blake Gripling (talk) 07:49, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
