There are quite a lot of short articles on Wikipedia, and this one is already longer than a stub, although I acknowledge that extending it significantly might be difficult.
I would oppose merger on several counts. Firstly, although made by Holt and (apparently) sharing some components with the Holt tractor, it was sufficiently different from those machines to sit very awkwardly in that article.
(My view of Holt tractor is that it should cover the type pictured, and related variations -- hence early steam-powered models would only be covered in passing (perhaps) and later models would be covered elsewhere.)
Secondly, there are numerous categories that apply to the gas tank but don't apply to the general tractors; merging would make categorisation messy.
Thirdly, it is quite common for significant vehicle types, machines, etc to have their own articles, and this one is notable enough to support that.
